From his studio in Manchester, illustrator Rob Bailey goes back to the basics. His work is far from flashy; Bailey’s signature touch, which has drawn commissions from a wide clientbase including everything from the New Yorker to Transport for London, is instead a strict, reductive minimalism. His bright colors soar off the page with the aid of simple but expressive shapes, breathing energy and life into his shapely forms and figures.
Take a look at a selection of Bailey’s illustrations below; see more bright and boundless work from artists around the world in our books on illustration.
