The Slim Bike Is Customized for a Sunshine State of Mind

Upon his arrival in Florida, Canadian bike builder Shaun Brandt of Federal Moto quickly teamed up with Powder Monkees’ Mike Muller customize a new daily ride. The pair settled on a 1978 Yamaha SR500 body for its slim build and versatility. They then swapped in a Yamaha fuel tank and Honda headlight from the 1970s and updated the paint job with a smooth, natural palette. To finish the bike's build, they added chunky tires with wide treading—perfect for both beachside cruising and taking the Brandt’s new ride to the streets.
