Take a Trip through Train Stations around the World

As you rush from place to place this holiday season, it is easy to miss the intricate and decorated interiors of the many stations, tubes, and terminals through which you pass. Traveling the world, photographer Chris M Forsyth made it his mission to document the underrated interiors of metro stations for his series The Metro Project. Using longer shutter speeds, the Montreal-based artist captured the constant motion underground in a stark contrast against the thoughtful architecture and design of each underground space.

Browse a selection from the series below, or peruse our book PhotoViz for more insights into how photographers, designers, and artists are using photography as a tool to visualize information.
