The Modular Home Hovers above a Lake and Granite Field
07/2016 architecture & interior
The architects at A69 tucked this concept home away in the depths of rock quarry in Posázaví, Czech Republic. The house’s exterior is harsh and dark, hugging the ground. Meanwhile, the large windows open up to flowing natural light and the rich beauty of the local area. Made to be modular, the cabin can be easily disassembled and removed from the quarry without leaving a trace. See more hideouts and get-aways in our books Hide and Seek and Rock the Shack.
