Homesick Houses tells the story of a city street that doesn't want to live in the city any longer. One day, they literally pack up and leave, forming a caravan to explore the world. On their journey, each house finds its perfect counterpart in an animal and lets it move in with them. The caravan shrinks with every stop, until only the originating house remains. This final house, having seen the entire world, ultimately realizes and appreciates the unique charm of its city home.
