As a native New Yorker, Christopher Bliss has always been drawn to the many facets of cosmopolitan life. He is particularly inspired by the invigorating lifestyles and dramatic changes that constantly shape the skyline of the world's largest city. Although he has always been involved in photography, Chris began his career as a concert pianist, studying in both Vienna and New York. Since 1988, he has been photographing New York City as part of an ongoing project that aims to capture the city's evolving architecture and culture. His work offers insights that appeal to both casual observers and photography enthusiasts. This expanded edition of Iconic New York is Chris' fifth book about the Big Apple.
