Leon Schäfers, born in 1997 in Germany’s Ruhr area, studied journalism in Gelsenkirchen and completed a master’s degree. Today, he works primarily in digital media—contributing to public broadcaster WDR and writing for one of Germany’s leading hip-hop platforms, Hiphop.de.
Jeanette Lang, born in 1995 in southwestern Germany, initially planned to become a teacher of English and Philosophy/Ethics. However, her studies at Saarland University ignited a strong interest in cultural studies. Music has always played a central role in her life, and her passion for hip-hop has remained a constant throughout.
